Santa Letter Studio
About us

Hello, I’m Emma, and I’m a little bit obsessed with Christmas

Santa Letter Studio is a small family business in North Devon. I run it while looking after our three little ones, and it exists for one reason: to help busy parents and carers make Christmas feel properly magical, without needing a spare week to do it.

Why Christmas

We believe in the real magic

Not the shop-bought, everything-perfect kind. The real kind. The gasp when a small person spots an envelope with their name on it. The careful, serious reading-out-loud. The crumbs left on the plate by the fire, and the absolute certainty that a reindeer was in the garden.

Those moments are over in a minute and remembered for years. I wanted a way to make more of them, and to make them easy enough that they actually happen in a busy December, not just on a list of things we meant to do.

Real life

Made at the kitchen table, between everything else

If you picture a calm studio full of fairy lights, I love that for you. The truth is a kitchen table, a laptop, a cold cup of tea and three little ones who have opinions about everything. Most of Santa Letter Studio was built in the gaps: after the school run, during a suspiciously quiet five minutes, and long after a bedtime that somehow took two hours.

So I know exactly what December looks like in a busy house. Somebody has lost a shoe. Somebody else is starving, ten minutes after lunch. The nativity costume needs to be a sheep by Thursday. In the middle of all that, making Santa believable can feel like one job too many. That’s the job I wanted to take off your hands.

What we made

The whole Santa story, from their letter to his reply

Our kit follows the magic from start to finish. Your child writes their letter to Santa. Santa writes back, by name, mentioning their town and something they did this year. Then come the extras that make the days before Christmas fun: a Nice List certificate, magic reindeer food with its recipe, a door hanger for Christmas Eve and a note from Santa for Christmas morning.

You personalise it on screen, watch it come to life, and print it at home. Nothing goes in the post, so it works in November and it works at 6pm on Christmas Eve. The whole kit is £5.99, about the price of a coffee and a mince pie, because Christmas is expensive enough already and I wanted this to be the best value way to do it.

Year after year

The same Santa, every Christmas

Children notice everything. If Santa’s letter looks completely different every year, sooner or later someone asks why. So our designs stay the same from one Christmas to the next: pick the same letter style each year and Santa’s stationery and signature will match.

As your children grow, Santa’s letters grow with them, but they always look like they came from the same desk at the North Pole. That’s how it should be.

Good to know

A few promises

  • You can preview the whole kit free before you pay, so you always know exactly what you’re getting.
  • Your child’s details are only used to make their kit, and never shared with payment or email providers. The privacy policy explains it in plain English.
  • We’ll always be honest with you. Royal Mail’s Letters to Santa service is free, and our free printables are free too, with no sign-up.
  • A real person answers every email. Write to hello@santaletterstudio.com and it’ll be me who replies, probably with a small person nearby.
